the get go Aghada took hold of the game. Very
tenacious and physical in contact. Blocking in particular was outstand- ing. In the first half and the ball was kept almost entirely in the Carrigaline
half. Mid-
field was dominant and successfully constrained their key players. Full forward line took full advantage of the early dominance
and hand

by 6 points to 5 having played against a slight breeze in the opening pe- riod with Darren O Dri- scoll prominent in attack scoring a succession of fine points.
