the superb Fundraising


Fashion Show which was hosted last week by the teachers and parents in The Walter Raleigh, Youghal. Striking a pose, the young children confidently made


their way along the Cat- walk with panache, twisting and turning to display the fashionable outfits, cheered on by parents and grand- parents, brothers and sis- ters. There was a great round


of applause when School Principal, Ms O’Neill took to the Catwalk with some of the teachers and parents. They also showed their styl-


ish outfits with enthusiasm and flamboyance, and re- ceived a standing ovation from the appreciative au- dience. Speaking with The East


Cork Journal Yvonne Coonan said they wanted to organise a fundraiser which would be a little different, and would involve the par- ticipation of the school stu- dents.


“We decided on a


Fashion Show”, she said, “and are delighted with the fantastic support which we have received tonight”. She extended thanks on


behalf of the organisers to the various Fashion Houses, to all who donated prizes for the Raffle and to every- one who supported and helped in any way with the very successful and enjoya- ble fundraiser.
