through, then we walked across the street to the ocean. Yep, it was that close! We ducked out of the rain again into a sea side restaurant called Sliders where I ordered up my second oysters in two days. (yummy.) We ended up with a nice crowd, and I

hosted our very special guests Greg T. Walker (Blackfoot), Tim Lindsey (Molly Hatchet) and Bobby Ingram(Molly Hatchet.) After talking to the crowd a bit and introducing my guests, we started taking questions. It was great fun, the folks were all nice and they asked some darn interesting questions. A large time was had by all. On May 16, 2015 my friend Colleen and I

attended the South Carolina Book Festival (scbookfestival.org) at the Metropolitan Con- vention Center in Columbia, SC. Mary Beth and Marsha had a booth set up for Mercer University Press, and we hung out with them for a while prior to my participation in a panel discussion on Art, Craft, and Song. I joined fellow authors Bill Thompson, and Dave Williams on a panel moderated by Lynda Bouchard prior to our signings. It was great fun, and I really enjoyed meeting Bill and Dave. Oh, and thanks to T.J. Wallace for her tireless work on this great event! On Friday, May 22 the Rebel Yell Book

Tour rolled into Nashville, Tennessee. Howlin' Books/Grimey's Too Records

like Bonnie, Donnie and Billy. Part way into the set, long time Winters

Brothers Band bassist Rick Burke showed up, plugged in and joined the jam. We had a fun little set. The music was as

The Tour will officially conclude with a spe-

It has been a great experience and so much fun. Major thank yous to all who came out to the sign- ings. It was so nice to see so many old friends and to make so many new ones. Until I see y’all again, Keep it real and keep it Southern! I want to give a huge thank you to all of the store propri-

Thanks to my friends who drove and attended the events with me, Colleen Knights, Rick Cash and Scott Greene! And finally, many thanks to Kathie Ben- nett for helping book the initial tour dates!
