PEOPLE DOWN IN FLORIDA CAN’T BE STILL- My special guests at The Book Mark in Jacksonville: Bobby Ingram, myself, Greg T. Walker and Timmy Lindsey. (Photo by Scott Greene)

(except for “Please Be With Me,” Dobro). Donnie Winters on Dobro, Denny Walley on slide and electric guitar: Real Sugar; I Keep My Mind on You; 5’ll Getcha Ten; Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat; You’ve Got a Friend Until After Then; Please Be With Me; I've Just Seen a Face (last tune).

After the show, everyone toured The Big

House. It is an amazing place, with so much Allman mania going on it would take days to see it all. It’s the Graceland of Macon. The next stop on the book tour would be

the land of Skynyrd, Jacksonville, Florida. The signing was on Saturday, April 25, 2015, but Scott Greene and I drove down a couple of days early so I could appear on a local TV talk show. On Friday morning we made our way over to the studios of WTLV where I would be interviewed on the programFirst Coast Living. (Watch the Interview) When we first entered the building we were greeted by one of the nicest ladies I have met lately, Ruthi Carlson. Reception/Director of First

Impressions. We stood and talked to her until it was time to go in and do the show. Once inside, everything was running like a

well-oiled machine, thanks to Producer Molly Montanye, who also booked me for the show. There were multiple guests, and they had sev- eral sets in the studio so that one guest could be set up while another was being inter- viewed. Later that day we met up with some dear

old friends, Nadine (Wailer) and Charlie (Southpaw) Atkinson who took us on a guided tour of all things Lynyrd Skynyrd. We wrapped it all up with a visit to Ronnie’s fa- vorite place to eat, Whitey’s Fish Camp. (See my review in this issue!) It was my first time seeing the Ronnie Van Zant Memorial Park, the graves and other sites. Huge thanks to them for a great day. On Saturday Scott and I drove over to Nep-

tune Beach where we were greeted by Rona Brinlee and her crew of amazing women (plus her hubby) at The Book Mark. We hung out for a while in the store while a storm blew
