Peter Frampton’s “Do You Feel Like We Do,” and The Champs’ “Tequila,” with the band dancing all over the stage. I told you it was a special night! “Country Side of Life” rocked the place to
the core, and then Donna stepped into to the lead vocal position to do her version of The Stones’ “Honky Tonk Woman.” Yes, fellow campers, it rocked! That Donna Hall Foster can still wail like always! Seymour took lead vocals on a cover of
Stephen Stills’ “Love the One You’re With,” before the youthful Brian Hall rocked a bass solo that included a tease of the “Gilligan’s Is- land” theme song, and segued into Ric singing the Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” At this point, it was sheer madness as the band started singing “No More Tequila” and doing something akin to square dancing which lead into- you guessed it (no, you didn’t) - a tease of the “Green Acres” theme song. Following that bit of hilarious mayhem,
Jimmy brought it all back home with one of his solo classics, “Rendezvous with the Blues.” Then came “Too Tall to Mambo,” fea- turing a sax solo from Jimmy that teased “Mountain Jam” (would I lie to you?). Awe- some. Donna returned to the mike to rock out the
Stones “Tumbling Dice.” God I love her singing that song! It rocks me to the very core. Then it was time to get serious, as Jimmy Hall related a touching story about his father, leading into the absolutely beautiful vocal of “Same Old Moon.” It was an emo- tional moment. Not to bring the house down too far,
Jimmy and the band kicked off their classic version of Little Miltons “Grits Ain’t Gro- ceries,” and the funk hit the freakin’ fan, baby! The encore was predictable, but the way it
was performed on this night was not. “Keep On Smilin’” featured Eddie Stone of Doc Holl- iday on the keyboards, and vocals from
Donna’s son, Terry Reeves Martin, and our ailing friend Greg Brooks. It was a joy to be- hold, wrapping up one of the most downright fun concerts this reporter has attended in many a moon. Wet Willie Band, great music and miles of smiles! Just what the doctor or- dered!

I don’t make it a habit of reviewing con-
certs by tribute bands. In fact, I rarely see tribute band shows, but my friends Eric, Dave and Ray hooked me up with a ticket to Fan Halen, and we sat at a table directly in front of stage left. I didn’t think that much about it at the time, but once this band started up, I was happy to be seated this close, as this is
