LIGHTING DESIGNER


Orlight is currently seeking to recruit a lighting designer to join its Design Team based in its brand new Showroom on the fashionable King’s Road in Chelsea, London.


Working on large high-end developments, both nationally and internationally, you will be expected to work as part of a growing team and have the ability to undertake projects of your own with guidance from the senior members of the team.


Applicants must have a minimum of two year’s experience working within a lighting design consultancy and hold a relevant design qualification. Candidates must also have working knowledge of CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and most importantly Relux. In addition, you will need to demonstrate excellent design, project management and presentation skills, enthusiasm, dedication and a keenness to learn. Product knowledge is also essential.


Project and Assistant Designers


Lighting Planners Associates is an award-winning Architectural Lighting Consultancy with offi ces in Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong.


We are looking for highly motivated lighting designers for our Singapore offi ce to work in our large scale projects in the region. Applications are open for project and assistant designers.


Project Designers must have completed projects to show their experience. Assistant Designers should have a lighting education background as a minimum requirement.


Applicants must have good skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop rendering and Lighting Calculation software. Hand sketch skills, Architectural Photography, and Visual Communication skills, Mandarin speaking will be considered as bonus skill sets. You will be expected to work on high- end projects, both in Singapore and overseas, as part of a team and travel to project locations may also be a part of your job scope.


Salary and benefi ts will be based on your ability and experience.
