SLESA-UE7 Nicolaudie

Nicolaudie has released a new SLE- SA-UE7 and SUITE2-FC interface. The DMX interfaces feature both USB and Ethernet and supports two universes in a stand alone format. This is the first SIUDI (Sunlite Intelligent USB-DMX Inter- face) to include both USB and Ethernet connectivity. Multiple interfaces can be synchronised over a network to allow for a larger number of DMX universes. Both models also include a micro SD card. www.nicolaudie.com

In 2013, RCL launched their latest lighting controls innovation, iDirect, an iPad based system. The award-win- ning app combines the latest in remote controlled technology with a simple interface that anyone can use, as RCL’s founder Joe Ruston explains: “For over a decade, RCL’s handheld controller has offered a practical solution to a com- mon issue, however, technologies and applications have now evolved. iDirect offers the next generation of lighting management and control for moving lights in a package that is both afford- able and simple to use.” www.rclighting.com

CONTROL EyeNut Harvard

EyeNut is a wireless control and monitoring system, which gives users the ability to con- trol and monitor lighting installations in order to save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and tailor lighting to their needs. EyeNut provides a flexible solution which eliminates commissioning issues and the need for expensive re-wiring. Installed alongside new lighting or retrofitted to existing installations, the solution also integrates with existing Building Management Systems to determine whether lighting is being used in an efficient way. www.harvardeng.com
