The ACE Conference Center and Hotel is situated on 300 acres of rolling hills and
woodlands. It provides more than 50,000-square feet of meeting and event space, including three amphitheaters on site. Facilities and activities include a low ropes challenge course, culinary cook-offs, game simulations, recreational activi- ties, and various individual and group sports.
The Woodside Lodge in Schwenksville was, at one time, a country inn that welcomed vacation- ers escaping the heat and swelter of Philadelphia summers at the turn of the century. It eventually fell into disrepair and abandonment until it was resurrected in a $1.2 million renovation in 2012. It now comprises a stylish restaurant, cozy B&B, friendly bar and 100-seat banquet room for meet- ings and special events.
Joseph Ambler Inn is an authentically restored country inn built on 12-acres of rolling countryside that was originally owned by William Penn. It
offers 52 guest rooms decorated with antiques and period furnishings, and an elegant colonial restaurant in a restored barn. 2013 has been a memorable year for the Joseph Ambler Inn, which celebrated its 30th anniversary.
The HYATT house™ offers studio and one-bed- room suites and a cozy contemporary vibe with their lounge and H Bar. Besides its 3,000-square feet of meeting space, the property offers great outdoor breakout spaces off of the meeting rooms and a private fire pit area adjacent to the lounge.
Marriott Philadelphia West boasts 10,000-square feet of meeting space and is home to the renowned Shula’s Steak House.
Elmwood Park Zoo offers unique event spaces like its Canopy Gardens Hall, which can hold up to 175 people with table seating or 250 without tables. The hall is climate-controlled and features fully retractable bay doors with an attached patio.
