The "Running of the Santas Mega Festival" returns to Philadelphia on December 7th. A long list of musical performances at this year's event, which also will feature thousands of costumed “Santas” and “Mrs. Clauses” bringing some holiday joy to the city.


Running of the Santas started in 1998 in the streets of downtown Philadelphia and more than a decade and a half later, the event has gone global with more than 20 host cities in 2013. Last year’s Philadelphia event attracted more than 7,000 revelers. A portion of the proceeds for this year’s event will go toward two charitable organizations: the Elle Koerner Leukemia Fund and the FOP Lodge #5 Survivors Fund.


Another event not to be missed this holiday season is The 8th Annual Jingle Jam for the hospitality industry, “Past, Present, Future Festive Sweater Bash” which will be held December 17th at the Sheraton Downtown Philadelphia.


A widely fun networking event, Jingle Jam is sponsored by HSMAI and ISES Philadelphia area chapters and brings together about 400 hospitality represen- tatives. This year’s charity is the DELCO SPCA.
