Buresova Ross further notes how the size of this facility helps accommodate these smaller groups very well by giving private rental options that they may not get at larger facilities. “Since we are a very small, family run business, a group can reserve the whole property, and host gath- erings and meetings in our dining room, which is full of light and has view of the stunning Crescent Lodge landscape.”


She also notes that they are able to pro- vide meeting groups with any type of set- up and accommodate diverse needs at on site. “Group members have easy access in and out to the outdoors for a small break to breath the fresh air of the Pocono Mountains. We are able to host meetings as small as 10 people. We provide for breaks and/or luncheons. At additional cost, we can arrange for projector and screen for the group, as well.”


Groups can take advantage of additional outdoor facilities here, as well, including a fitness trail, shuffle board and tennis courts. “In winter days, guests can unwind by a working fireplace in our lobby or any of our cottages if a guest books an overnight stay,” says Buresova Ross.


Small meeting destinations like these pro- vide planners with first-rate service and a wide range of opportunities. The knowl- edge that their business is valued and viewed as having great importance instills appreciation and confidence.


What these groups lack in size and attendance numbers, they


more than make up for as loyal and repeat customers.
