CHILDREN’S SAND SCULPTURE
10.30am to 12 noon - Main Beach, by the Mowlem Using only the medium of sand, children must strive to create a modern masterpiece! What wondrous sculptures can your children create? Well, come along to the main beach to find out. Children can work individually or in pairs and must create their sculpture using no special equipment, the only decoration being natural objects found on the shore. Work must be completed by 11.45am.
Parent’s Please note: The Judge’s Decision is FINAL Group A: Ages 5 to 8 years. Group B: Ages 9 to 12 years. Entry Fee: £1.00 per person.

7.00pm to 9.30pm - Marquee, Sandpit Field While adults have their fun in the Lower High Street, children can go along to the Carnival Marquee and show off their costumes.
There will be a junior disco and judges will choose the winners while they dance, so come on Mum & Dad, get their costumes made and let them have an evening to remember.
Swanage Regatta & Carnival will not be responsible for unaccompanied children.

5.00pm - Next to Jetty, Swanage Beach Join us on beach next to the Jetty, to watch Carnival’s five-a-side beach football tournament. 8 teams have been training hard to compete for the honour of being Swanage Carnival’s beach football champions!

6.45pm Start: Seafront near the Clock Tower, Finish: Sandpit Field
This is a FUN-RACE so, if keeping fit is your thing, enjoy a run through our lovely countryside. If you are capable of running 4 miles you are most welcome to join in. Water will be available at the finish and the course will be marshalled.
Arrive early and join in the warm up session with the staff of Swanage Therapy Centre.
Entry forms are available on the Carnival Website or from the Carnival Caravan on Shore Road.
All Participants must be 13 years and over.
Entry Fee: £5.00 in advance (closing date for postal entries 27th July 2012) or £7 on the day
