2.00pm - Sandpit Field Now in its seventh year, ‘It’s a Knockout’ is still one of the most popular and entertaining events of the week, with six crack teams fighting it out to become the champion. We have devised some new and devious games, including some that will not be revealed to our teams until the day, so plenty of surprises with lots of fun and laughter.

UK Tiles Direct O EXTREME TEAM 4.00pm (Approx) - 5.30pm - Sandpit Field
To mark the Olympic year, competitors will have a chance to show their sporting finesse in the Carnival Extreme Team competition. Teams of five are invited to compete in the 8th annual ‘Extreme Team’ challenge where they will take part in a range of tough, taxing and wacky activities.
If you are ready to compete for ‘Carnival Gold’ enter a team on the day and take up the challenge!
With £100 prize money to the winning team, £50 Carnival Bar vouchers for second place and £25 Carnival Bar vouchers for third place, competition will be fierce, but fun! The best placed mixed team will also receive a prize and remember fancy dress is always welcome!

5.00pm to 10.00pm The Square, Lower High Street & The East Bar These two award-winning characters put energy and thought into every event they attend. A great double act, they have built up a unique portfolio of shows and specialise in slapstick comedy with the most amazing props. Fully versed in uni-cycling, globe walking, juggling, diablo and other circus skills they provide a feast of physical comedy.
Rainbow has just won the 2012 ‘Barbara Miller Award’ for precision attack and timing, given by Clowns International. Sonny and Rainbow are still travelling around carrying out their antics and are currently looking at performing in Pakistan, as well as already performing in Guernsey and throughout the UK.
Tonight, they will be clowning around, mixing and mingling with the crowds and entertaining throughout the evening in their own hilarious, unique style. CARNIVAL 2012

The Cruisers make a fabulous start to a week of Live Music on the Stage. A terrific band that will ‘rock’n’roll’ you up to the fireworks, with a selection of classics from the 50s and 60s to the present day.
