MASQUERADE MAGIC NIGHT Thursday 2nd August 8.00pm to 10.00pm - Lower High Street

This is the night when the centre of Swanage comes alive to the sights and sound of the Mardi Gras and all things Masquerade...

Even after the huge success and fantastic entertainment of last year, this year’s masquerade night promises to be even bigger and better!

With the memory of street parties still fresh after the Royal Jubilee celebrations, dig out your fancy dress costumes once more and join us for a wonderful evening for all of the family.

Held in the heart of Swanage’s nightlife, dance along with a host of fantastic street entertainers. Revellers can don colourful, exotic costumes or more traditional can be worn, from Cancan to Flamenco, Hawaiian to Rio, Pirate to Priest, wear a masquerade mask and let everyone guess who is behind it.

Packed with music and dancing until late in the night, this year’s party promises a whole host of amazing new entertainment that includes spectacular Bands, Magicians and the delightful Stilt

Walking Girls. All the pubs along the way will be joining in with the festivities, for what promises to be a truly memorable night of fun. The exciting sounds of laughter and music will echo throughout the town as the whole street throbs to the Carnival atmosphere!

From the Red Lion down to the East Bar, revellers can strut their stuff and show off their costumes, see if you can outshine the rest?

So, be sure to bring the whole family along with loads of loose change and help Carnival raise as much money as possible for its nominated charities.

Don’t forget your camera to capture the colourful sights you find along your way and then upload them for all to see on our website at www.swanagecarnival.com.
