BOURNEMOUTH CARNIVAL BAND

The Bournemouth Carnival Band will entertain and amuse you with its comedy and unusual antics.

It is the perfect opportunity for the beautiful Queens and Princesses to show off their magnificent dresses, which cannot normally be appreciated to their full, as they sit either on the floats or in cars.


Most of the girls will be attending carnivals all over the south as well as taking part in the UK Carnival Queen & Princesses at Disneyland, Paris (details can be found on www.ukcarnivals.co.uk) and the New Year’s Day Parade in London.


THE RED ARROWS


1.00pm - Over Swanage Bay Making a welcome return, we are thrilled to present for your enjoyment, the incredible Red Arrows.


The natural amphitheatre of Swanage Bay will keep the team in view for the whole performance, either passing overhead in tight formation or with the synchro pair heading towards each other at a closing speed of nearly 700mph and passing only feet apart.


Commentary will be provided by a member of the Red Arrows Ground Team. So when you see collectors in Regatta & Carnival T-shirts carrying buckets, please give generously to help both Carnival’s chosen charities and to ensure that we can bring these guys back again next year!

NOVATONES 2.30pm to 3.30pm - Seafront If you want to hear some good old fashion rock & roll and love the Buzzcocks, Clash, Ramones then look no further, the Novatones will have you feeding off their energy from the start. Returning to Carnival for a second year, more fantastic entertainment has been guaranteed!

RAMPAGE CARNIVAL CLUB** 5.30pm approximately - Arena, Sandpit Field


During this short display you will have an opportunity to see the exotic costumes created for the band’s performance of ‘25 years and Still Charging’ ‘Mas Through The Looking Glass’

2.50pm - Seafront Always crowd pleasers, we welcome back the fantastic Christchurch Cruiser Club and the UK Beach Buggy Club. The clubs will drive their colourful and amazing machines along the carnival route, ahead of the main procession. During and after Procession, weather permitting, the Buggies will be parked on the Recreation Ground and the bikes will be parked in Station Road.


CARNIVAL PROCESSION


3.00pm prompt - starting from De Moulham Road The incredible Swanage Carnival Procession 2012 begins its journey. To help plan your viewing of the Procession, signs have been placed along the route showing the approximate time of arrival at certain points.
