Thank You To Our Sponsors & Friends

A

part from our eternal gratitude to all of our sponsors, there are a few people who need a special mention for their hard work for Carnival, which often goes unnoticed:

The Town Council and its staff - especially the van crew, the Tourist Information Centre, Purbeck House Hotel, Swanage & Purbeck Hospitality Association, Polyfoam, PuMP, Queensbury Contractors, AJS Developments, Swanage Conservative Club and Swanage Round Table, David Hollister, Eric Hudson and all the people that man the Carnival Caravan.

We must take this opportunity to sincerely thank Travis Perkins Builders’ Merchants and several other friends of Carnival for their support in providing lorries and drivers, all of whom offer their services free of charge.

Thanks also to Dave Pascall and Paul Mills of Active Publishing for producing yet another amazing Carnival programme that helps so much in promoting Carnival and raises substantial funds toward Carnival costs.

Lastly the local services, Police, Fire, St John Ambulance, Coastguard and Lifeboat crew, for all their assistance prior to and during the week.

Benefiting Charities 2011

E

very year we give the excess money made from Carnival events to local, and some national, charities and organisations.

Individual amounts donated ranged from £200 to £2,500 and totalled nearly £26,000. These were awarded at our annual Gala Presentation Evening. Join us on the last Friday in September this year to support your charities as they receive their cheques, and enjoy real Carnival fun and hospitality!
