Child ‘Stay Safe’ Message: Carnival events attract large crowds and there is a possibility of children becoming separated from relatives and friends.

Help keep them safe with 3 simple steps: 1. Identify a specific meeting point with your child/children 2. Attach identity wristbands 3. Provide your child/children with your mobile phone number

Wristbands are available at the Carnival Caravan & the Tourist Information Centre on the Seafront.

Please remember: Swanage Regatta & Carnival does not accept responsibility for unaccompanied children at any of its events.

For the Enjoyment of our Carnival Please Note that:

Swanage Regatta and Carnival and Active Publishing make every effort to ensure that the times and venues of the events listed in the programme are accurate. From time to time it may be necessary to make changes. When this happens, details of changes will be displayed at the Carnival Information Caravan on the Seafront.

Every care is taken to ensure that everyone will enjoy the many events that have been arranged for your entertainment. Wherever there is a large gathering of members of the public, there will inevitably be risks. Swanage Regatta & Carnival has conducted a risk assessment of each of the events, however, safety is the responsibility of us all. We ask, therefore, that you all make every effort to ensure that you do not compromise your own safety or that of anyone else. In particular you are requested to keep all children under close supervision. Please follow any instructions that you may be given by our marshals.
