The senior citizens won and Fraser Robertson presented them all with a superstar award.

New equipment includes - a climbing volcano, a new music player, colourful torches to make light patterns on the walls, a telephone exchange so that the children don’t need to shout to talk to friends at the other end of the nursery, magnifying glasses so that the children can look more closely at the mini beasts in the nursery garden, c olour mixing glasses to experiment with different colours and a blender for making healthy smoothies full of exotic fruits.
Nursery topics so far have included, hibernation, Autumn and darkness. The children can’t wait to learn about Diwali next term. The imaginative room has recently been transformed into a rock concert. Who knows what the imaginative room will become next term? We can’t wait to see!
Strathgryffe Tennis club coaches have been working with primary 2 pupils to give them taster sessions. Kidston Kids
We had great fun exploring Duchal Woods on our Nature Walk at the start of October. We jumped in the puddles, made muddy boot prints, watch our sticks fl oat in the water, tried out some tree bark rubbings and collected lots of interesting, leaves, berries, pine cones and twigs on our wiggly sticks.
Afterwards we were all ready for a healthy snack back at the hall.
