THERMAPOOL BUSY PROMOTING POOL INSULATING SYSTEM
Pool insulation company Thermapool is the only Government accredited swimming pool insulation system and is at the forefront of the opportunities linked to Part L of the Building Regulations. So the company will be stressing the role it can now play in the energy conservation of new pools. Thermapool achieved the accreditation after 18 months of independent testing and it has been ascribed with the maximum 40 year lifetime for tiled and liner swimming pools. Thermapool Grants are funded by the same funds loft and cavity wall insulation grants come from. Grants for domestic swimming pools vary from between £700 and £3,500 and are available regardless of financial status. Pool chemical specialists Complete Pool Controls is adding some new products to its already comprehensive chemical range, including a specially formulated slatted Cover Cleaner, and Spa Polish product. Additionally a new economy pH and redox domestic pool controller will be unveiled. The company has invested in new retail improvement marketing materials which will be featured including Display Stands, Pavement Wobbler, ”Open- Closed” hangars and shop display mobiles. CATALINA SPA SHOWS OFF NEW SPA AND SWIM SPA MODELS
Catalina will be at SPATEX with two new spas and hoping for the same reaction the products received at Lyon’s Piscine show last autumn. Both the new 14 foot swim spa and the new MMX1X six seater spa from Catalina will be seen in the UK for the first time. “We had just a fantastic response to them in Lyon so I’m sure people will be impressed,” said Stephen Crabb. Catalina also has its new energy efficient spa and swim spa heat pump heating systems on show – a system which will pay for itself in energy savings inside three years.
