An $18 million renovation was completed in 2009 to the Sheraton Roanoke Hotel and Conference Center.
All of its guest
rooms, public space and conference facilities have been completely renovated. The Link@Sheraton is its new business center, and a new large fitness center by Core Performance has been added, as has The Market, featuring Starbucks Coffee and more.
Opening soon at the Sheraton will be Shula’s 347, which is named in honor of Hall of Fame Coach, Don Shula - the most winning coach in the NFL history with 347 career victories. The atmos- phere is casual and full of energy.
Since its beginnings in 1995, the Conference Center Roanoke has served as a premier facility in the region. Renovations completed in 2010 included soft goods upgrades to all 35 meeting
rooms, as well as upgrades to its lighting system.
With its renovation initiatives completed, The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center is home to 63,000 square-feet of high-tech conference space. The proper- ty is a joint project of Hotel Roanoke LLC, the City of Roanoke and Virginia Tech operated by Doubletree Hotels, part of Hilton Hotels Corporation.
