Events Worthy The HUB

Philadelphia, PA October 14, 2010 - The Hub, a meeting and events center,

celebrated its 5th anniversary at its City Center location, The Hub CityView.

The Hub’s team created an atmosphere that would celebrate the youth and vitality of the company, and reflect their core values. Three special cocktails were created for the event by catering partner Stephen STARR Events, and, in a nod to The Hub family’s insistence on making work days productive and fun,

Wondergy set up a laser Asteroid game on the ceiling.

The event was indicative of the way the staff plans events. Waiters circulated with heavy appetizers, then guests were encouraged to wander between several of The Hub’s break- out rooms which were dedicated to certain food themes. One room hosted El Vez Restaurant inspired Mexican appetizers, another was set-up for American classics like mac’n’cheese and chicken pot pie a la Jones Restaurant. The tables in another room were set with cheese displays encompassing the French cuisine of Parc Bistro & Cafe.

The Hub also found a way to acknowledge the deep level of corporate social responsi- bility practiced by the company's co-

founders, Bill Decker and John New, as one of the lounge areas was dedicated to inter- national disaster-relief group, ShelterBox.

A photo booth from Go Festive!, complete with props, provided keepsakes, while

throughout the evening American Idol finalist Travis Tucker and his band Millennium, through Philly Event Group, performed.

The event was a triple celebration: The

Hub, which has three facilities in Philadelphia, was celebrating not only its 5th birthday. It was also ranked on Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private compa- nies in America, and inaugurated five new rooms in its flagship City Center location.
