BuxMont Indoor Sports Center is a new 78,000 square-foot recreational sports facility in Hatfield. The center features professional-level courts for volleyball, basketball and field hockey; three batting cages; and a full service café for players and spectators. Twenty large screen LCD televisions are also on site.
Competitive Edge Sports recently opened in King of Prussia and offers 40,000 square feet of space for basket- ball and volleyball, as well as a 6,000- square-foot SAQ (speed, agility, quick- ness) area, a “green” energy efficient lighting system, and wireless electronic scoreboards.

YSC is a soccer-focused sports facility conveniently located in the Valley Forge- King of Prussia area with indoor and out- door state-of-the-art synthetic Sprinturf soccer fields. The facility is re-opening a renovated 30,000 square foot building and a brand new 60,000 square foot addition this November. YSC Sports is the official youth development partner of the Philadelphia Union. Along with soc- cer, the complex offers lacrosse and field hockey league play opportunities.
A recently renovated 1913 train station at Valley Forge National Historical Park fea- tures a new interactive exhibit on George Washington as a leader, and serves as the educational entryway to his original stone headquarters at the site of his encampment, which was considered the Pentagon of its day.
Places to Meet
Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks is one of the largest suburban exhibition centers on the east coast with up to 220,000 square feet of uninterrupted exhibition space on a single floor. The expo center serves the tri-state region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and features eight 14’ x 14’ drive-in load-
ing dock doors and 22- to 45-foot ceil- ings. The facility also offers more than 5,000 free on site parking spaces and more than 3,150 nearby hotel rooms.
Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia, offers more than 150,000 square feet of exhibit space, and has two hotels connected to it that are home to 488 newly renovated rooms. The complex is located just one mile from the pictur- esque, rolling hillsides of the 3,600-acre Valley Forge National Historical Park - the largest expanse of open space in south- eastern Pennsylvania.
"The Waterford," located inside the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge and con- nected to the Valley Forge Convention Center and the Scanticon Hotel and Conference Center, is a luxurious multi- level ballroom featuring a spectacular ballroom and entertainment center. This contemporary and high tech venue was built to accommodate corporate and social events. Including its balcony, the ballroom can hold up to 450 for a ban- quet or well over 600 guests seated the- ater-style.
