George Washington’s historic winter encamp- ment of 1777-78, and is considered the birth- place of the American Army.
Only 18 miles from Philadelphia, the Valley Forge of today is home to numerous meeting venues. For those who would rather shop, the area is home to the Court and the Plaza at King of Prussia, the largest retail shopping mall, plus outlets and unique shopping.
