Hemco Intros Canopy Hood and Containment System
Independence, MO — Hemco Corp., a manufacturer of laboratory equip- ment, has introduced two products: a controlled containment system (CCS) and a rust-proof, chemical-resistant canopy hood. The CCS is engineered to safely
contain and control airborne particu- lates from sampling procedures. Dispensing from drums and weigh- ing procedures are typical applica- tions. Drums or equipment can be easily rolled into the enclosure through the strip-curtain entrance. Both the process and surround-
ing environment are protected from contamination. A downward flow of HEPA-filtered air maintains a clean- liness level at drum or working height while all exhaust air exits out through HEPA filters in the rear wall at floor level. The interior is under slight negative pressure to ensure that no contaminant escapes out of the enclosure. The enclosure is designed to be
located on the existing floor and comes with the option of rolling or set casters for mobility. Also available are electrical and plumbing service
fixtures, tables with work surfaces and various enclosure floors. The company’s canopy hoods
have been created to collect and exhaust corrosive vapors, heat, steam, and odors. They are available in 36, 48, 72, and 96 in. (0.91, 1.22, 1.83, and 2.44m) widths, in wall or island models. Canopy hoods are available in either molded, chemical- resistant, flame-retardant one-piece composite resin, or welded type 304 stainless steel. Configuations include wall canopy hoods, island canopy hoods, corner canopy hoods, and cus-
tom. With any of the canopy hoods, vapor-proof lights, switches and side and rear enclosure panels are offered to prevent cross drafts and further

IDT Releases Latest Broadband RF Switches
San Jose, CA — Integrated Device Technology, a developer of RF, tim- ing, wireless power transfer, and switching solutions, has released two high-isolation, low-loss, high-lineari- ty broadband RF switches for a wide variety of applications. Operating at 50 to 8000 MHz, the IDT® F2932 and F2933 are silicon-based, low-distor- tion 50W single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches.

deliver high isolation of 66 dB, low distortion of 64 dBm IIp3 at 15 dBm tones and 1 MHz channel spacing, and insertion loss of 0.93 dB. The two switches offer similar RF perform- ance, pinout and control, with the F2932 having an additional enable/ disable feature allowing all RF paths to be put into an off state and dis- abling the VCTL feature. Both are industry-standard 4 x 4 mm 16 pin
