Schunk man- ufactures high performance depaneling machines for both in-line and stand- alone/batch applications. The company has its headquarters in St. Georgen, Germany. Schunk depaneling machines can be configured with either a high- speed sawing disc for v-score boards or spindle for singulating tabbed boards. The flexible universal tooling, Magnoplate, consists of a magnetic work piece holder in which magnetic pins are automatically placed using coordinates from CAD data imported into the system interface. The data are then used to

Henkel Partners with Tekra to Expand
Electronic Inks Irvine, CA — Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ Electronics has partnered with plastic film and adhesives solutions provider, Tekra, a division of EIS, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Tekra will deliver sales, technical consulta- tion and post-sale service for Henkel’s full line of electronic ink materials to cus- tomers throughout North America. The Henkel portfolio of electronic ink solu- tions includes fine-line conductive inks, thermoformable products, force sensing materials, PTC formulations for heating elements and transparent coatings, among others. Prior to its agreement with suburban Milwaukee-based Tekra, Henkel relied on direct sales channels for its electronic ink products, primarily due to the stringent storage requirements which precluded the use of standard distribution processes.
