Newtown, CT — Sonics & Materials, Inc. is introducing its new e-Press Touch, an ultrasonic stepper motor welder with touch panel technology. Unique to the e-Press is its single streamlined box containing both the controller and power supply. The Model GXP e-Press Touch
consists of an electric stepper motor press with optical encoder for high- precision, repeatable welds (depth tolerance of ±0.0003 in.) and a uni- fied touchscreen controller/power supply. The new touch panel is accessed through full-color menus designed for smooth weld control, monitoring and networking.
