ringe gun is a lightweight, handheld, man u ally operated dispenser de- signed for dispensing fluid from pre- filled syringes. This dispenser pro- vides good control and is an inexpen- sive way to dispense fluid. Available in 10, 30, and 55cc sizes, the gun is simple to set up and easy to use. It also requires no pneumatics, battery or electrical power. The syringe gun is shipped with
these items: gun handle, push rod, sample syringe, sample piston, and a sample tip cap. The gun is designed to be ergonomic, compact in size, and has a full-handle trigger to minimize operator fatigue.

Compact Test Platform from JOT Automation
Oulu, Finland — JOT Automation, a supplier of test and assembly solu- tions, has introduced a modular test platform, the JOT M10 Test Concept, which enables the reliable testing of the full range of applications with a single platform on a factory floor. The unit automates functional,
ICT, high voltage, SW download, and RF testing with rapidly deployable, plug-and-play test boxes, handlers and racks. According to the company, the
platform is the most scalable solution that supports a variety of capacity re- quirements and test strategies. The concept allows the simultaneous test- ing of different applications and sys- tem reusability with the help of the standard test handlers and flexible SW architecture. The modular system design en-
ables easy adaptation to production volume variations during a product’s life cycle and also between the pro- duction lines and factories. The very same solution can be taken from re- search and development to volume production, to secure an efficient pro- duction ramp-up.

JOT automated, compact test system.
Each test box has a dedicated
area for application-specific electron- ics and product-specific fixturing. Test boxes can be used off-line and later taken to volume production simply by integrating boxes with the handler, without extra modification. The handlers and lines are easy
to connect to different kinds of pro- duction environments. They can also be monitored remotely in real time. The always-connected M10 is a good match for factories as they come to
rely more heavily on networking. Contact: JOT Automation, Inc.,
