December, 2015 ULT AG Introduces Adsorption Dryer
Lobau, Germany —ULT AG has intro- duced a device for air-drying, the ad- sorption dryer ULT Dry-Tec®. The pro -
duct was developed for process air de- humidification at dew point tempera- tures down to –60°C (–76°F). It is
based on the rotation dehumidifica- tion principle, designed for use in sen- sitive areas of electronics production. The compactly designed device
requires little floor space and the sys- tem was developed specifically for ex- tremely dry process air atmospheres, providing a good extraction rate at very low air humidity levels. Opti- mized high-performance sorption ro- tors provide a high efficiency level dur- ing low maintenance operation. The unit contains an integrated heat ex- changer to help recover energy. In ad- dition, the system is easy to transport. The applied capillary rotor con-
densation principle continuously and efficiently removes humidity from process air to be dried. A constant and simultaneously controlled adsorption and a parallel running regeneration ensure ideal dehumidification per- formance for process airflow. ULT Dry-Tec is suitable for a
wide variety of operations in: elec- tronics and component manufactur- ing, as the unit provides constant drying conditions; in the chemical in- dustry for clumping prevention and protection from moisture damage; in the pharmaceutical industry for pill

Toughened Epoxy from EpoxySet
Lincoln, RI — EpoxySet, Inc., has in- troduced the SetWorx 60, a tough- ened epoxy which yields bond strength at high temperatures. It has been designed for use in advanced in- dustrial bonding where high strength and high peel-strength are required. It also has electrical insu- lating properties that make it a good choice for high tech electronic appli- cations. The epoxy produces durable
bonds to ceramics, metals and most plastics. Its 2:1 mix ratio and 60- minute work time make it a user- friendly choice in production environ-
ments. It can be cured at room temper- ature, or more quickly with mild heat. The epoxy is part of the company’s product line of BPA-free materials that are not hazardous for shipping.
packaging into blister strips or coat- ing processes; and in the food indus- try in tunnel freezers or for spray drying of convenience products.
