This is a reminder to everyone who put their names down to help the fire victims whose houses and shacks burnt down last week. We hope at least ten people will help with the building project.


Please meet at the entrance to Masiphumelele on Saturday morning at 07:00. You do not need to bring tools or equipment but heavy-duty gloves and a hat are compulsory. Habitat for Humanity will provide lunch, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day.

Mr Jack Black of Mama Africa Grill is very excited because the Bafana Bafana soccer team is visiting the city and they booked a table for twenty people for Saturday 30 July. Mr Black compiles an internal memo to inform the staff about the evening. He explains their dress code and that they have to work from 18:00 till 01:00. Any queries must be directed to Mr Black before 27 July. Supper will be provided as well as transport home. He thanks them for their co-operation. Write this memorandum in 120-150 words.

Electronic mail, known as e-mail or email, is a method of exchanging digital messages from a sender to one or more recipients. In the past e-mail systems required that the sender and the recipient both be online at the same time. Today e-mail systems accept, forward, deliver and store messages. Neither the users nor their computers have to be online simultaneously. Tey need to connect only briefly, for as long as it takes to send or receive messages. Communicating via e-mail has become very popular. It is quick, effective and inexpensive. Many businesses rely on e-mailing for most of their business correspondence. Sending and receiving e-mails can also be a lot of fun and many people do it as a form of relaxation. You must be careful, though, not to waste time at work sending silly
