Rewrite these sentences, beginning each with YESTERDAY. 1. I order stationery for the office. 2 We sign the attendance register at staff meetings. 3. I go to discuss a problem with a colleague. 4. I am not afraid of thunder and lightning.
Use past tenses to join these sentences with conjunctions and show which action happened first or which action is continuous. 5. I improved my writing. I edit it carefully. (when) 6. Musi goes to college. He learns new skills. (where)

FUTURE TENSE We look at 3 ways of writing about the future. 1. We use will and a simple present tense verb to talk about things that will happen in the future. I will play tonight. I think Brian Habana will score a try on Saturday. No, he will not. We will lose against Australia. Life will be very different in 2050.
Tips Use the following adverbs to indicate the
future tense: next week, tomorrow, soon, later, in a while, later in the week, next month, in the future, tonight, this aſternoon.
2. We use going to to talk about people’s intentions, things they have decided to do in the future, e.g. She is going and to study at college.
making predictions if there is something in the present, e.g. I can tell from the wind that it is going to rain tonight.
3. We use the present continuous tense for the future if there is a time word to help you, e.g. He is coming home tomorrow.
Simple Future
Regular: Add will to simple verb form walk
Is/are going to
I will walk. You/we/they will walk. He/she/it will walk.
I am going to read. You/we/they/are going to read. He/she/it is going to read.
