middle level state honors music project
Doug Arendt of John Long Middle School, Grafton, will be completing a successful term on the Middle Level State Honors Committee. Following three years as sec- tion coach, Arendt accepted the challenge as project chair-elect for one year and
leading the project as chair for the past two years. As past-chair for 2013 Middle Level State Honors, he will be recognized for his dedicated service to the project. “Working with outstanding honors students, honors staff and nationally recognized conductors
has been a rewarding challenge that has meant a great deal to me on a professional and personal level” according to Arendt. “The opportunity to be part of and to lead this enrichment experience is a memory that will last a lifetime. From auditions to final concert, Wisconsin music students demonstrate they are outstanding.”
