Wisconsin State Music Conference Conference Highlights
1st Brigade Band
Wednesday, 7 p.m. Experience a piece of American history in an unforgettable performance by the recreated 1st Brigade Band. The band makes history live by presenting period brass band music, performed on antique instruments. Attired in uniforms and gowns, the musicians, color guard and costumed ladies take you back to the 1860s Civil War era. 2013 marks the band’s 50th year and the 150th celebration of Gettysburg. This special free concert is open to the public and kicks off the annual Wisconsin State Music Conference.
Sponsored by East Troy School District Music Student Alumni (in recog- nition of the middle and high school teachers’ outstanding contributions to the community), the Getzen Company, Inc. and Ward-Brodt Music.
