According to the compa- ny, auto-focus capability helps tech- nicians or inspectors become more productive in high-volume settings. It turns the compact Mighty Scope into an aim-and-view instrument, just as an automatic camera simpli- fies point-and-shoot photography. Applications include parts

focusing options for diverse inspec- tion needs. For the first time, this hand-
held instrument has a continuous focusing mode that lets operators keep a product or specimen in sharp view automatically, even as working distance and magnification change. This is particularly useful for labora- tory work and inspecting different areas of a sizable sample. A single-focus mode is available

with tin-silver-copper, tin-silver, tin- copper, and other alloys. The liquid flux offers low post-
process residues and passes IPC 2.6.3.7 SIR in an air-dried state. It has been proven to reduce preventive maintenance requirements for spray fluxing applications. In addition, the flux offers low-fuming and fast solvent evaporation. It is designed to be no- clean, non-visible residue flux, which can be cleaned if critical to the product application. In addition, the company is highlighting its tin-lead and lead- free alloys, including SN100C — a lead-free solder alloy developed by Nihon Superior — that is comprised of
tin-copper-nickel + germanium. Contact: AIM, 25 Kenney Drive,
