Escondido, CA — Global Test Solutions has intro- duced the DL Series electronic DC loads from NF Corporation. The new DC loads provide high-speed feedback control, fast response times, and fast slew-rates to eliminate the common problem of overshoot and undershoot and better emulate real- world electronic loads. The new loads offer a wide variety of features, measurement functions, and voltage and current ranges to improve test accura- cy and reduce setup times. DL Series loads can simulate linear resistance when testing battery discharge, photovoltaic panels, or serve as a test loads for DC power supplies. The instruments can also be used to measure

New Heyco Cordgrips for Tight Strain Relief

Toms River, NJ — Heyco Products Inc. has introduced its new Heyco®- Tite Straight Thru and Pigtail design Snap-In-2® Liquid Tight Cordgrips. Easily installed with no tools or locknuts required, the Snap- In-2 Cordgrip’s special fingers securely snap into a range of panel thicknesses. The Pigtail’s integral nylon spring eases the cable into a lazy bend to prevent kinking and assure long cable and product life. A sealing flange on both designs pre- vents sealing washer displacement

the current and voltage, and for testing multiple devices under test (DUTs). Units can be ganged together to configure up to a 10kW system. The DL Series also allows parallel and multi-channel syn- chronous operation, allowing multiple DUTs to be synchronized and tested, saving time in test set-up and operation. Four DL Series electronic DC load models are

available, each with six modes, combining constant voltage, current, and resistance, from 300W to 1000W. The input voltage is variable, with options up

to 120V at 180A or 500V at 36A for the 1kW models. Contact: Global Test Solutions (GTS),

due to water velocity to ensure a liq- uid-tight IP 65 and IP 67 seal. This eliminates the need for a locknut or threaded hole to achieve a liquid tight seal at the panel — excellent for low clearance installations where locking nut access is limited. Both cordgrips models have a

ratchet design sealing nut assembly to provide superior anti-vibration and ensure a firm grip on the cable. The Straight-Thru design fits

panels from 0.062 to 0.125-in. (1.6 to 3.2mm) thick and handles flexible cord diameters ranging from 0.065 to 1.000- in. (1.7 to 25.4mm) and the Pigtail design fits panels from 0.062 to 0.125- in. (1.6 to 3.2mm) thick and cord diam- eters ranging from 0.065 (1,7 mm) to 0.709-in. (1.7 to 18.0mm). Both provide liquid tight strain relief protection. Constructed of nylon 6/6 with

Buna N or TPE sealing gland, the cord- grips are recognized under the Components Program of Underwriters Laboratories File E51579, Certified by Canadian Standard Association File 93876C, have a 94V-2 flammability rating, and working temperature range

of –22 to +212°F (–30 to +100°C). Contact: Heyco Products, Inc.,

human ingenuity. manufacturing brilliance.

To envision a new product, it takes human ingenuity. To bring it to life, only manufacturing brilliance will do.

Which is why so many East Coast manufacturers – local job shops, mid-level enterprises and multinational OEM’s – attend EASTEC. It’s where new ideas, technology and processes are highlighted through interactive exhibits, technical education and networking.
