It uses ultrasonic waves to instantly and permanently destroy fat cells providing patients a convenient non- invasive, no downtime solution to reduce localised fat deposits, body circumference and skin tightening.
Inch Loss & Body Contouring When calories exceed demand the extra calories are stored as fat inside Adipocyte cells, the fat contents are stored as semi- liquid inclusion in the cytosol of each cell. The Lipofirm PLUS hand-piece is placed on the skin precisely on the area that is to be treated. The machine works with ultrasounds that form bubbles in the tissues where the fat cells are located. The bubbles expand and are immediately compressed afterwards. The temperature increases due to sudden variation in pressure and the bubbles implode. This implosion damages the fat cells membrain, reducing the localised adiposity, the contents of the fat cell (tryglycerides) spill out from the broken cell membrane where they are transported through the body’s natural metabolic functions.
Lipofirm PLUS works with four different operative modes which can be adjusted according to the imperfection to be treated:
LIPOFIRM PLUS v. LASER Compared to the alternatives, such as laser lipo where a wavelength is used to stimulate the mitochondria to start the process of Lipolysis, the patient’s results are very reliant upon the amount of cardio vascular exercise that is needed to be carried out within 24 hours of the treatment to avoid fats re-depositing. Whilst such a treatment can be effective, the reality of patients being able to carry out such an intensive exercise routine is unlikely and therefore making the results inconsistent. Clinical studies have also proven that fat cells that have been dormant for a period of time may not respond to stimulation using wavelengths. Although it is advocated that a healthy diet and exercise routine is maintained, the results of Lipofirm PLUS is not reliant upon such rigorous exercise.
Skin Tightening
Lipofirm PLUS also treats common problems associated with aging: Sagging skin on the neck, décolleté and face along with wrinkles are common problems associated with aging. This is mainly due to the decreasing of collagen production as skin loses its quality. Lipofirm PLUS uses Radiofrequency (RF) to stimulate the collagen production and strengthen the skin’s structure. RF enables skin tightening
and improvement of the skin’s appearance painlessly without post-op downtime of classic surgery applications or other invasive methods. Radiofrequency is a non-invasive way of tightening loose or lax skin around the forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth, jaw line, jowls and also the area under the chin and neck. This is a very effective way of reducing fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores and improving skin tone and texture as well as dull skin. It can also be used for body tightening and skin improvement. Radiofrequency treatment uses electrical pulses to heat the dermis through hand pieces without damaging the epidermis, to stimulate new collagen growth and provide an improvement in skin laxity and appearance, to remodel and enhance dermal density with minimal risks.
