Daikin Europe N.V. has further expanded its award winning Altherma™ heat pump range. Following its low temperature and monobloc versions, Daikin Europe N.V. announces an Altherma™ high temperature air-to-water residential version – Altherma™ HT – across Western Europe. With the launch of this high temperature heating system (normally supplied with the optional hot water cylinder) heating expected this summer; Daikin has set its sights on the huge replacement market for heat pumps. Harvesting at The Hub


An exciting building in Bristol has achieved BREEAM excellent rating. The offices are the new South-West HQ for consultants Atkins. Known as The Hub, the building incorporates various energy and water efficient solutions including a rainwater harvesting system. The bespoke steel and glass structure is one of the region's most eco-friendly work places and sets an excellent example of sustainable construction. Leading specialist Rainharvesting Systems were chosen to supply the water saving system for the building, designed to meet most of the toilet flushing demand for the 1000 occupants.
