Permaflor access flooring range launched Bathgate Flooring, has launched a complete range of raised access flooring panels, pedestals and accessories under its new Permaflor brand. The new range offers fully steel-encapsulated, steel encased and vinyl surfaced panels as well as bespoke sizes and finishes including carpet, timber, ceramic and even marble. It means there’s a Permaflor product to meet any flooring design or requirement. All are available for new-build projects using BSA or PSEN specifications, offering a choice of floor loadings and void heights. The manufacturing flexibility of Permaflor is particularly suited to refurbishment as panels can be made to match existing floors or modules at a fraction of the cost and inconvenience of whole scale replacement. Sikafloor system
combats damp issue A resin flooring system from Sika Ltd that produces a surface incorporating a damp proof membrane has been installed at the Western Campus Sports Hall of Leeds University. This system prevents rising moisture levels to ensure there will be no warping of the new high performance sprung beech floor. The 800sq. metre Sports Hall has undergone a complete structural refurbishment. This Sikafloor system is the only one available that provides a complete and intact damp proof membrane in all situations and can be completed in a short space of time.

Addagrip shows new
Addazing at Decorex Addagrip is exhibiting its extensive range of high quality resin flooring as well as showcasing the AddaZing designer surfacing system at this years Decorex exhibition. AddaZing is a designer surfacing system for interior floors and wall panels in contemporary residential and commercial projects. The bespoke formulation extends the creative possibilities for flooring and surfacing by using the chemical reactions of epoxy resin to produce organic patterns and iridescent pigments within interior surfaces. Flooring project
wrapped up with RSL Resin Surfaces Ltd (RSL) has supplied its products for a complex flooring installation at a Scottish packaging factory. Interflex Group, required a new hardwearing flooring system to replace a damaged floor and ensure maximum cleanliness at its factory in Dalkeith, Edinburgh. The complex project, which necessitated working around machinery on the factory floor that could not be moved, was undertaken by Datum Industrial Flooring during a five-day period of downtime. Irish sustainable carpet floors the UK Tretford cord carpet has been installed in a new office fit-out for global medical devices company ApaTech in Elstree, in the Design Council’s London headquarters and in many different newbuild and refurbishments projects across the UK. The well-known Irish carpet was selected not only because of its exceptional physical performance and design aesthetics but because is one of the most sustainable floorcoverings on the market. Tretford cord is widely specified for its sustainability because of its natural fibre construction which combines a wearing surface of 70-80% goat hair coupled with 100% jute backing.
