Providing enhanced properties Rockfon Sonar D ceiling tiles were chosen for the patient bedrooms at the new Kings Mill Hospital. The top lacquer used on the surface provides enhanced cleaning properties and resistance to scratches and marks. Sonar also offers Class A sound absorption and Fire Class A1 properties. Rockfon Medicare was chosen for the communal areas, bathrooms and kitchens where its properties aid the fight against the spread of infection. Made from 100% stone wool, Rockfon ceiling tiles do not contain organic nutrients and do not allow growth of harmful micro organisms, in particular MRSA.
