Note on figures quoted: The figures we use are from Companies House and, as such, have a built-in reporting lag. This is made more complicated by changes in accounting year-ends, and holding companies, which a series of take-overs and megers such as these inevitably entails. Grant & Stone’s, 2020 figures, for example, are for only 8 months and IBMG’s pre-date the merger with Grant & Stone. Hence we have used separate tables to show the historical financial performance of the companies within the group. The figures are as accurate as we can get them, however they may not entirely reflect the day-to-day reality of the businesses.
