The bpi division has manufacturing sites across the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland and Romania.
Reporting Relationships • Report directly to the National Specification Manager • Close working relationship with Internal Specification Support
• Close working relationship with Product Manager • Liaise with National Technical Manager, as required • Liaise with National Sales Manager, as required
Main Objectives • To generate Specifications via Architects, Engineers and Contractors offering risk assessed technical designs both on site and at office locations in accordance with Codes of Practice/regulations.
• Once generated, track specifications through to a sales order.
• Provide CPD Training via PowerPoint. • Provide on-site technical support • Support the Visqueen National Training Academy as and when required
Main Duties / Responsibilities • Raise Specifications and log them on the CRM to KPI expectations and track through to a sales order
• Proactively develop new specification generation via targeting
• Diary and Territory management utilising outlook calendar, Tasks and CRM System.
• Participating in continued professional and personal development.
• Instrumental in helping delivering and implementing New Product Development Programmes.

VISQUEEN TECHNICAL
SUPPORT MANAGER (EAST ANGLIA TERRITORY)
• High Level of IT Skills utilising CRM, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Have an in depth understanding of Construction processes and drawings
• Have an in depth understanding of the specification process
• Work towards CSSW qualification to managed timescale • An ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail in both literacy and numerical skills. • Thrive in a pressurised Technical sales driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
Managing the role on day to day basis • Review technical enquiries via specifier visit, email or telephone; respond action or delegate after liaison with National Specification/Technical Manager in conjunction with relevant codes of practices.
• Develop enquiry into a technical specification. a) Log specification and develop into sales order. b) Provide relevant project updates utilising CRM
• Collate all relevant Contractor/Specifier information and log onto CRM.
• Provide updates to above on a weekly basis.
Commercial Support • Promote the Specialist Centre or damp protection centre models regarding product supply.
Measure and Review • Provide monthly, Specifications versus budget. • Provide monthly, Specifications KPI information • Provide monthly, new Business generation via targeting. • Sales versus budget. • Specification generation and retention by territory • Deliver CPD’s to territory and business expectations.
