Elliotts is a family-owned build- ers’ merchant, founded by the Elliotts family in Southampton in 1842, and now with over 300 employees across 14 locations in Hampshire & Dorset, including builders’ merchants, specialist tool warehouses, and kitchen & bathroom showrooms. The company is currently managed by sixth generation custodian, Tom Elliott, who took over from his fa- ther Stuart Mason-Elliott in 2014. Since then, the business has con- tinued to grow with further sites and the launch of Elliotts Living Spaces, the specialist kitchen and bathroom arm of the company. In April 2022, the company opened a brand-new site in Lym- ington, featuring the region’s first drive-through warehouse. The new £5million branch will stock over £1million of building materials across the 2-acre site at Ricardo Way, Ampress Park, and featuring the area’s first drive- through merchant to make it fast- er for customers to collect their materials. Vehicles will be able to drive through the warehouse and park next to the products, cutting the time to pick and load, all whilst undercover. Additional

FRANK KEY GROUP Limited, is a large privately owned, independent builders merchant and plant & tool hire specialist across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire, founded by Mr Frank Key in 1907. It moved to the Daybrook Head Office premises in 1953 and has been expanding ever since.
In 1977, the company launched the plant hire company, then the skip hire service. A number of acquisitions have followed, with the busiest year being 2015 Frank Key acquired Banson Tool Hire, Charles Watson (Ironmongery) and Clower & Son, extending its reach across Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire.
In 2021, Robert Sansom announced his retirement from the day-to-day Frank Key business, remaining as chairman ofthe Frank Key Group board
