CARVERS BUILDERS VILLAGE features a fully-stocked builders merchant branch, a kitchen and bathroom showroom, a cooker centre, Carvers DIY showroom, a landscaping centre and a drive- through warehouse for building materials.


There is also a number of franchise operations alongside the Carvers main business, showcasing a wide variety of ceramic and porcelain floor and wall tiles, including natural stone, mosaics, limestones and granites. market. The Builders Village was built following the huge fire in February 2012 that destroyed much of the original branch.

FOUNDED IN 1954 by Brothers Walter & Colin Berry as a joinery manufacturers in King Street, Leyland, the company is still family owned, with 3 generations of the family still actively working for the company. After moving to Golden Hill Lane in 1961, the company began to specialise in importing & machining bulk timber, selling mainly to the building trade.
