Corporation and Taiwan’s other duty free operators, with all of them feeling the pressure as Mainland Chinese tour group visits fell by 30% – along with per capita spending by Chinese visitors. However, strong efforts to broaden the country’s tourism appeal to other nationalities are paying dividends. Doug Newhouse reports.
