Pernod Ricard unveils new global travel retail structure Pernod Ricard has announced a new global travel retail organisation for its fourth largest market, which will see its three regions, comprising Travel Retail Asia Pacific, Travel Retail EMEA and Travel Retail Americas, all consolidated into one single entity. The new all-encompassing division,


Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, will be based in London from 1 July 2017. “The new organisation will allow Pernod


Ricard to fully capture the undeniable growth potential of this channel by its unified global approach,” says the company. Franck Lapeyre – currently President &


CEO of Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Americas – will now serve as the Chief Operating Officer, for Pernod Ricard GTR. The company added: “It will also ensure


a more effective collaboration with brand companies and key customers, and guarantee that all travellers are able to find their favourite Pernod Ricard brands in their duty-free outlets to take home.” The new global leadership team will be

Vangelisti is appointed Heidsieck Director of Global Travel Retail Champagne houses Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck have named Cécile Vangelisti as their new Director of Global Travel Retail. Vangelisti will work with two maison


Executive Directors to create and execute strategic plans for the Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck brands. She will have responsibility for global


travel retail and airline partners, following the companies’ decision to directly manage operations in the channel earlier this year. Cécile Vangelisti has over 16 years’


experience in wines & spirits, perfumes & cosmetics and fashion – including nine in travel retail. She has also worked previously at Coty


Travel Retail Europe & Africa, William Grant & Sons Travel Retail Europe, and Campari Travel Retail Europe. She also holds a degree from IPAG business chool in Nice. Adding his comments on Vangelisti’s


appointment, Champagne Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck President and CEO Damien Lafaurie said: “I have great confidence that Cecile’s experience of travel retail will be instrumental in accelerating the development of our brands in the most prestigious airport/airlines across the globe. “Please accept my personal appreciation
