The Maritime industry as we know it is chan- ging at a rapid pace. As you would expect, digitalization has found its way to the shipping and offshore industry. Although shipping is historically seen as a traditional and somew- hat conservative industry, it cannot be denied that digitalization of the shipping industry is in full effect.

Bezoek Alphatron Marine op Europort 2017
ROTTERDAM Alphatron Marine en JRC verwel- komen u graag op Europort 2017, waar wij onder andere twee van onze geïntegreerde brugoplossingen zullen laten zien en een variatie van onze hoge kwaliteit navigatie- en communicatieapparatuur voor allerlei typen schepen. Tegenwoordig is het belangrijk om de klant op afstand goed te kunnen onder- steunen. Het concept ‘Supported sailing’ heeſt daarom een belangrijke plaats gekregen binnen onze organisatie en zal een centrale rol vervullen tijdens Europort. Wij hebben een supportcentrum waarmee wij vanaf de wal wereldwijd schepen volledig kunnen ontzorgen.
Onze brugoplossingen zijn ontworpen met de gecombineerde specialisaties van Alphatron Marine en JRC, een synergie die zorgt voor kwa- liteit, betrouwbaarheid en innovatie. De volledig geïntegreerde (eenmans)brug heeſt de huidige standaard in brugontwerpen geher- definieerd. Ervaar uit eerste hand hoe simpel, intuïtief en innovatief de besturing is. Met de drie 46-inch schermen en een volledig opera- tionele Transas-simulator bent u in staat om toezicht te houden op alle navcom apparatuur vanuit een comfortabele kapitein stoel.
Ook aan bod komt de compacte brug voor sleepboot en ferry, welke ontworpen is in sa- menwerking met ‘s werelds grootste sleepboot operators. Deze brugoplossing biedt excep- tionele zichtbaarheid rondom het schip wat bijdraagt aan de veiligheid bij de dagelijkse, soms complexe, operaties.
Binnenvaart Uiteraard is de binnenvaartafdeling ook op de Europort beurs weer goed vertegenwoordigd. Wij laten u in een keurige lessenaar alle moge- lijkheden zien die wij de binnenvaartvloot van Europa te bieden hebben. Van de vertrouwde en zeer populaire JMA-610 rivierradar tot camera’s aan toe. De nieuwe MF-line mag hierin natuurlijk niet ontbreken. Deze wordt dan ook breeduit tentoongesteld in de consoles. Ook een systeem om de schipper te waarschuwen voor aanvaringen met bruggen wordt compleet werkend gepresenteerd op de beurs. Er is een verschuiving van analoge naar digitale camera’s aanstaande en deze nieuwe camera’s worden op deze beurs voor het eerst aan het grote publiek getoond.
Nieuw tentoongesteld dit jaar is het VTS- systeem. Deze speciaal ontworpen, en aan wal
geïnstalleerde, radar is bedoeld om kustlijnen, sluizen en rivieren te bewaken. De radars wor- den met elkaar verbonden en kunnen optioneel worden uitgebreid met camera’s. Het VTS-sys- teem biedt een unieke 3D-ondersteuning zodat de operator een zeer betrouwbaar inzicht in de situatie. Deze ontwikkeling is in samenwerking met Transas.
Tijdens de show introduceren wij uiteraard ook graag onze nieuwste producten waaron- der de nieuwe 5-inch touchscreen VHF-radio, de nieuwste generatie JMR-5400 radar, de adaptieve autopiloot en de nieuwe MFD3900. Ook de nieuw ontwikkelde NeCST-oplossing zal niet ontbreken. Met deze toepassing zijn we in staat om routeplanning, logboekfunctionaliteit et cetera op digitale wijze vast te leggen en te integreren met ECDIS.
