The Vorarlberg region is a five-star ski resort of the highest calibre, often referred to as the ‘cradle of Alpine skiing’ since it was here that the first ski school was founded in 1908 in Stuben. Nowadays it’s home to prestigious ski schools, which sit in a vast linked ski area. Guests can start their day in one village and visit others with ease, never needing to take a bus. The pisted area spans nearly 200 miles, and world-class off-piste extends the region by a further 120 miles.
