Hotel Riml HOCHGURGL, AUSTRIA
Tyrol’s highest ski-in/ski-out four-star superior hotel is located in south-west Austria at an altitude of more than 7,000ft above sea level. The family-run Hotel Riml has 100 family suites and rooms with spectacular views, spa offers, ski rental, childcare and much more. Alternatively, the self-serviced Homes by Riml offer the opportunity to cook your own meals while still benefiting from all of the hotel’s facilities. Obergurgl/Hochgurgl is a popular destination
for travellers keen on snowsports and the Hotel Riml is directly within the ski resort with its own ski- and board-rental service. Guests can be skiing almost from the moment they leave the hotel’s front door. Skiers can pop back to the hotel for lunch on the sun terrace, surrounded by a fantastic mountain backdrop. After a day on the mountains, whether that
be skiing or hiking, the Hotel Riml offers the perfect conditions in which to wind down, with an indoor pool, fitness centre, sauna facility, massage and beauty specialists. The newly built adults-only Sky Relax Area on the roof, with its
outdoor whirlpool bath, sauna and salt water steam room, offers magnificent views of the Alps and pure relaxation. A trip to the sauna, aroma steam bath, herbal bath or saunarium can soothe tired muscles after a day on the slopes, as can a dip in the panoramic indoor pool. There’s also a children’s playroom supervised
by two nannies at all times. The service is available for babies, toddlers and children, allowing parents and carers to relax knowing their children are in safe hands. Golfers are welcome to use the indoor golf area
(with four simulators) and practise their swing on more than 50 of the leading golf courses of the world. There are also three different training methods, provided by an in-house instructor. The hotel offers a wide a la carte lunch menu
and a variety of bars. The Putt in Bar and the Panorama Bar are ideal for a drink before eating in one of the dining rooms: the Defregger dining room, the Alpine room or the Romantik room. On the menu is traditional Austrian cuisine with a modern twist, accompanied by exquisite wines.
Don’t miss The Sky Relax Area on the roof with its magnificent views of the Alps, as well as an outdoor whirlpool bath and saunas
