Hard Rock Hotel Maldives MALDIVES

Located within Emboodhoo Lagoon — the first integrated resort destination in the Maldives — the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives has 178 spacious guestrooms including family suites, beach villas and one- and two-bedroom overwater villas

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives recently opened its doors as part of CROSSROADS Maldives, the Maldives first integrated resort destination. Located on the stunning Emboodhoo Lagoon — just 15 minutes from Malé International Airport by speedboat — the hotel features a series of signature music-inspired experiences for all ages, including the Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club and Teen Spirit, dedicated hangouts for kids and teens, plus a Body Rock fitness centre, and two Rock Shops. Inspired by local culture, the tropical

architecture is infused with various contemporary design features, which sit alongside regionally-inspired authentic music memorabilia.

FOR YOUNGSTERS For kids, no two days at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives are ever the same. Young guests who visit Hard Rock Roxity Club and Teen Spirit are given an ‘All Access Pass’ and can collect

passport stamps by participating in activities, or ‘jams’. A daily jam programme includes the likes of arts and crafts, a mini circus with aerial acrobatics, gmnastics, a climbing wall and introductory self-defence classes, beach activities, watersports and musical stage shows with real instruments and professional musicians or with lip-syncing, air guitar, dance routines and much more. Private music lessons on a variety of

instruments are also available for youngsters to help them unleash their inner guitar hero or superstar DJ. And on top of all that, children under the age

of six eat for free throughout the resort, while kids aged between six and 12 receive a 50% discount at the hotel’s restaurants.

FOR FAMILIES Families are also able to travel light by borrowing a wide range of children’s amenities when they arrive at the hotel, from cribs, UV

bottle sanitisers and baby monitors to safety stair gates, toilet training seats and bathtubs for toddlers. There are also PS4 consoles, pool games and selfie sticks for teenagers. Parents who need a night off can simply

book the hotel’s certified babysitting service, giving them the chance to discover Rock Spa treatments or romantic meals for two. Families can learn about the Maldives’

pristine environment at the Marine Discovery Centre. Here, a team of dedicated marine biologists teach guests about the many conservation activities taking place at CROSSROADS Maldives, including a Junior Coral Curator programme and clownfish release initiatives.

ACCOMMODATION The 178 rooms at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives include duplex family suites, beach villas, overwater villas and pool villas, presenting options for every occasion. For example, the

two-bedroom Silver Family Suite allows parents and kids to stay together in luxury, including bunk beds and a private terrace with direct beach access, while the breathtaking Rock Star Villa has its own bar, spacious outdoor living areas, infinity pool and even a private boat jetty. Music has a magical way of evoking

memories, and Hard Rock’s signature Sound of Your Stay music programme enables guests to curate their very own holiday soundtrack. On offer for use are downloaded playlists, in- room turntables and there’s even the chance to reserve a Fender guitar from a curated guitar menu, all free of charge. These tunes will remind families of the

amazing times they spent together in the Maldives for many years to come.

CUISINE At the end of an activity packed day, families can look forward to memorable dining experiences at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. At

Sessions, diners are treated to contemporary dishes from around the world and there’s the choice of indoor or outdoor seating, while The Elephant & The Butterfly presents stunning Mexican-inspired, pan-Latin cuisine in an oceanfront setting. Alternatively, the Hard Rock Cafe at

CROSSROADS Maldives, which is just a short walk from the hotel, serves up a taste of American favourites, along with music and memorabilia. Bespoke, in-villa dining experiences also create opportunities for families to come together in culinary harmony.

THE SURROUNDINGS CROSSROADS Maldives encompasses three idyllic islands fringing the Emboodhoo Lagoon in the South Malé Atoll. Phase one has included the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, plus the Hard Rock Cafe, Marine Discovery Centre and wide range of other facilities centred upon The Marina @CROSSROADS, an 800-metre lifestyle area and beach walk.
