PAID CONTENT FOR LÄRCHENLODGE – APARTMENTS & SPA

Lärchenlodge – Apartments & Spa STUBAI VALLEY, AUSTRIA

In the Stubai Valley, just south of Innsbruck, Lärchenlodge offers a contemporary interpretation of alpine living. Framed by Tyrolean peaks, the property is shaped as much by its materials as by its setting. The lodge was constructed using larch wood

sourced from the family’s own forest. Harvested and crafted by local master carpenters, the timber preserves regional building traditions while expressing them through clean, modern lines. Interiors carry the subtle fragrance and tactile grain of larch, creating warmth without heaviness. The 13 mountain-facing apartments are fully

equipped and designed with architectural precision. Expansive glazing frames the shifting alpine light, ensuring the surrounding peaks remain a constant presence. Layouts are generous, while the material palette remains restrained, made up of natural timber, stone and muted tones. The wider valley offers year-round diversity.

The nearby Stubai Glacier provides reliable snow conditions from autumn into late spring, while Schlick 2000 sits beneath the striking

Kalkkögel range, sometimes referred to as the ‘Dolomites of Tyrol’ for their dramatic limestone formations. In summer, more than 530 miles of hiking trails cross alpine meadows and glacial streams. The WildeWasserWeg traces waterfalls and narrow gorges shaped by meltwater, and mountain huts serve regional specialities such as Kaiserschmarrn and Tyrolean dumplings. The StubaiSuperCard, included during summer stays, offers complimentary access to selected cable-cars and regional attractions. Wellness is positioned at the lodge’s highest

point. The rooftop spa features two saunas, a heated outdoor whirlpool and relaxation areas arranged around a fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames panoramic views across the valley, reinforcing the connection between treatment and terrain. From 5pm, the spa becomes adults-only, enhancing privacy and quiet. Breakfast is served in the alpine lounge,

where freshly prepared egg dishes, regional cheeses and locally sourced produce create an unhurried start to the day.
