Willka T’ika Essential Wellness SACRED VALLEY, PERU
In Peru’s Sacred Valley of the Incas, Willka T’ika offers the perfect setting for a reset of mind, body and spirit. Centrally located between the ancient Inca capital of Cusco and the mountaintop citadel of Machu Picchu, the retreat serves as an ideal base from which to explore the landscapes and archaeological wonders of the Andean heartland. Willka T’ika offers an environment of quiet
luxury, where every detail is designed to support tranquillity, reflection and renewal. Sustainably constructed adobe casitas are situated throughout the Seven Chakra Gardens. Each reflects Andean design influences and feng shui principles, and is decorated with original Andean artwork. Designed for self-care, rooms either open directly
into the gardens or offer views of the surrounding Andean peaks and blue skies. The Seven Chakra Gardens are the spiritual
and physical centre of Willka T’ika. These hidden spaces were designed to reflect the classic seven chakras of the body. The hum of bees and the song of native hummingbirds create a natural symphony along the garden paths. Fragrant notes of minty
muña, eucalyptus, heirloom roses and the spice of molle berries permeate the air. Cultural immersion, Andean ceremony and
nature-based experiences are cornerstones of the retreat programmes. Rituals are led by Q’ero spiritual leaders from the high Andes and include Despacho, Fire Ceremony, Coca Leaf Reading, Sweat Lodge with medicinal plunge pool, Sound Healing, Cacao Ceremony and Kintu Blessing. Restorative spa therapies draw upon Andean
healing traditions and ancient therapeutic wisdom. Treatments incorporate botanicals grown in the gardens, traditional hydrosols (herbal distillates), sacred minerals and rituals that honour Pachamama (Mother Earth). From grounding massage therapies and organic botanical facials to medicinal flower baths, crystal light therapy and reflexology, Willka T’ika offers a holistic approach to restoration. Each stay at Willka T’ika also contributes to
the Willka T’ika Children’s Fund, which provides resources for the education and essential needs of several hundred of children in four Quechua mountain communities.
