PAID CONTENT FOR DZAMLING GAR WELLBEING RETREAT
Dzamling Gar Wellbeing Retreat TENERIFE, SPAIN
On Tenerife’s sunkissed southern coast, where the Atlantic meets dramatic volcanic land, Dzamling Gar Wellbeing Retreat unfolds as a sanctuary for body, mind and spirit. Set beside the sea and surrounded by a botanical garden with more than 500 plant species, it offers a rare opportunity to slow down and reconnect with nature. What distinguishes Dzamling Gar is its deeply
personalised, spiritual approach. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Himalayas, each retreat is custom-made according to the needs and health of every individual guest. Rather than following fixed programmes, the experience evolves organically, guided by certified specialists working in close harmony. Menla (traditional Tibetan Medicine doctors)
assess each guest’s constitution, recommend personalised diets and herbs and offer therapeutic massages to rebalance energy and relieve discomfort. Yantra yoga teachers design tailored movement and breathing sessions suited to all levels. A dedicated meditation teacher introduces accessible practices and practical breathing
techniques to help manage stress, cultivate calm and build resilience. To support long-term integration, guests can
continue selected practices online after returning home, allowing the retreat’s physical and emotional benefits to deepen beyond their stay. Accommodation is equally thoughtful. Guests
stay in apartments furnished with simple elegance, located in tranquil individual villas that invite quiet reflection amid greenery and ocean air. Cuisine centres on locally grown ingredients, with adaptable menus that can be vegetarian or tailored to dietary needs, supporting both physical health and emotional balance. Guests may also experience Khaita dance
inspired by Tibetan culture, as well as Vajra dance on the mandala — sacred movement and mantras designed to harmonise personal energy with that of the earth. Dzamling Gar is a nonprofit organisation founded
by Dzogchen master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, dedicated to cultivating compassion and awareness through authentic knowledge and practice.
